Create Initiatives

Triangulation Folder
Accept the default triangulation folder location (in your project folder) and folder name or specify a new folder location and name.
Tip: Optionally, use the right-click Add | New Folder option to create a folder to write the output triangulations to.
Name Attribute
Select the attribute in which the values used to identify each task are stored.
Note that layer triangulations with empty Name attribute values are skipped. When duplicates are encountered you will be prompted to overwrite the existing initiative task. Select Yes to overwrite, No to keep the existing initiative.
Earliest Start Date Attribute
Select the name of the attribute in which the earliest start date of each task is stored.
Duration Attribute
Select the name of the attribute in which the duration of each task is stored and select the units used to measure the duration (Hours, Days, Weeks).
Apply
Finally, click Apply to begin the process. Open the Initiatives Setup window to confirm that the Initiative tasks have been created:
Depending on the period covered, the duration maybe rounded up from Hours to Days to Weeks to Months,
