Configuration

On the Services ribbon, click Asset Health and then Configuration to navigate to the Configuration page.

The Asset Health module provides the Configuration page for the reading definitions used for setting up Asset Health dashboards, as well as a method of importing DBC files which contain information for the signals used in configuring J1939 definitions.

The Configuration menu at the left of the page consists of links to sub-pages and the DBC File tool. The default display is the Reading Definitions sub-page, but you will be redirected to the Reading Names sub-page if no configuration currently exists.

Information on Asset Health dashboards is contained in Dashboard.

Reading Definitions

The Reading Definitions sub-page shows a summary of the configured readings and allows you to add, edit or delete readings.

For information on creating a Reading Definition, see Create Reading Definitions.

Reading Names

The Reading Names sub-page is used to create Pitram specific names used to identify signals related to a reading definition. For example, Engine Oil Temp would be linked to a specific signal (SPN + PGN) that relates to the engine oil temperature.

For information on using Reading Names, see Create Reading Names.

DBC File

The DBC File option is used to import a DBC file which provides the signals used in configuring J1939 reading definitions. A Reading Name along with a Signal (SPN + PGN) are used to create a Reading Definition.

For information on importing DBC files, see Import a DBC File.
