Attribute

When the mode is set to Attribute in the Colour Set Wizard: Colour entries are generated based on a specified data range and number of intervals.

Options

Options will vary depending on the mode selected and the (Numeric or Text) type of the attribute(s) you have selected.

Attribute

Use the drop-down to select an attribute of the selected layer(s). To browse attributes and their properties click the ellipsis.

Loaded Layers

Use the drop-down to select from the layers loaded in the Design Window.

Include Zeros

Select this check box to include zero values. If this option is not selected, elements with zero-valued attributes are ignored.

Data Minimum and Maximum

Specify a range of values for the attribute. Elements with attribute values outside of the specified range are ignored.

Interval

Specify an interval by which the values of the attribute will be grouped.

Start and End values

Start and End values default to the Data Minimum and Maximum (above), however you can adjust the range.

Add Less Than/Greater Than Min/Max

Select these check boxes to:

  • Add elements with attribute values less than the Data Minimum to the first interval

  • Add elements with attribute values greater than the Data Maximum to the last interval

Condition Type

When a Numeric attribute has been selected, select a condition type. Conditions are automatically generated using the condition type and the parameters you have specified, however you can edit the conditions for individual colour entries.

Accept

Click Accept to apply the settings you have made (or click Cancel to discard your changes).
