Layer Triangulations

Triangulations are special-purpose reference layers used for image georeferencing and data interpolation. Unlike Layer Triangulations, they cannot be modified interactively. (Layer Triangulations are listed under the Layers node in the Design Data pane and can be created and modified interactively using the tools provided on the Shape ribbon.)

To toggle the visibility of a Triangulation, right-click on the name of the layer in the Design Data pane and select Visibility > Show or Visibility > Hide. (Ctrl+T,T)

When a Layer Triangulation is open in the Design Window, the following groups are available on the Triangulation ribbon:

• Add

• Split/Merge

• Move/Copy

• Utility

• Remove

Layer Triangulation layers can also be imported, exported and manipulated via the Triangulations right-click menu in the Design Data pane:

• Contour

• Simplify

• Import

• Export

• Copy to Layer
