Framework

A Block Model Framework defines its origin, extents (as defined by a specified cell size and the number of cells in each XYZ direction) and (optional) its rotation on three orthogonal planes that intersect at the camera viewpoint.

To view or edit the Framework, on the File tab of the Block Model Properties window, click the ellipsis to the right of the Framework input box:

The following framework properties can be edited:

Origin

The Origin of the Block Model. If a Custom Origin is entered (you change the default Easting, Northing and Z coordinates).

Specifying a custom origin point only affects how the blocks of the output block model are reblocked and does not change the position of the block model.

Cells Size

The dimensions of the blocks when the Block Model File was Imported. If you alter the Cell Size, a new grid for the reblocked block model is calculated using the extent of the source block model and the number of Cells (see below) is recalculated in each X,Y,Z direction.

Number of Cells X,Y,Z

The number of blocks in each orthogonal direction when the Block Model File was Imported. If you alter the Number of Cells in a particular direction, this will alter the Cell Size (see above) in that direction.

Rotation X,Y,Z

(Optional) Use these inputs to display the model on three orthogonal planes that intersect at the camera viewpoint (rotated view).
