Output

The Output tab of the Expand Block Model form is used to specify the details for the output file; including new and existing block flags, and the name and location of a required output file.

Flags Blocks

Select the Flag Blocks option to write flag values to a specified field in the output. Block models can be flagged so that they can be filtered out or grouped separately for visualisation and reporting. If this option is not selected, the Flag options will not be enabled and no block will be flagged.

Flag Field

Select the field to write the Flag values to the block model file. When a Flag field value is entered and Auto load in Vizex is selected, the block model will be rendered by flag field. For example, if a Classification field is selected, the model will show the classifications - such as Waste and Ore,. below:

New blocks

Enter a value to be assigned to the Flag field for new blocks.

Existing blocks

Enter a value to be assigned to the Flag field for existing blocks.

Overwrite flag field

If you select this option, any information already contained in the Flag field for the file will be overwritten with the specified Flag value/s. If the option is not selected, values for New or Existing blocks will only be written to blank instances of the Flag field in the file.

Use the buttons on the local toolbar to Manage the rows in the list.

If you do not want to overwrite the Input file, select a file type and enter (or click on the Select icon to select) the name of the Output file. You can also click the Pick from Vizex button to collapse the form and interactively select a layer containing the file to be inserted and return to the form.

Auto load in Vizex

Select the Auto load option if you want the resultant block model file to be automatically loaded in Vizex when it is created. The default Display setting for autoloaded block models is Auto, which will display the layers as 2D slices when Vizex is in clipped view.
