Drillhole Tracker
Planned Drillhole
Use the Planned Drillhole options to select the planned hole to be compared with an active drillhole.
Database
Double-click (or click on the Select icon) to select from a list of drillhole databases in the current project.
Press F5 to create a new drillhole database. Press F4 to edit a drillhole database you have selected.
Hole name
Double click to select the Hole for the tracker from the selected database.
Active Drillhole
Using the options in the Active Drillhole group, you can select the active drillhole for the tracker to compare with the selected Planned Drillhole. The hole can be selected from a Database or a Survey.
From Database
If you select the From Database option, you can select the Database and Hole for the tracker.
Database
Double-click (or click on the Select icon) to select from a list of drillhole databases in the current project.
Hole
Double click to select the Hole for the tracker from the selected database.
From Survey
If you select the From Survey option, you can select and configure the details for the Survey file where the Hole for the tracker is located.
Current Depth
Optionally, enter the depth at which the survey was made.
Survey file
Double click (or click on the Select icon) to specify the Survey file which contains the information for the drillhole comparison, including the Hole. You can also click the Pick from Vizex button to collapse the form and interactively select a layer containing the file to be inserted and return to the form.
You can optionally specify a Filter to select only a subset of data.
Hole ID field
Double click or click the List icon to specify the field in the Survey file which contains the Hole information.
Hole Name
Double click (or click the List icon) to open a list of drillholes in the specified Survey file:
Click on the hole for the tracker in the dialog and click Select to add it to the Drillhole Tracker form.
Depth field
Double click (or click the List icon) to specify the field in the Survey file which contains the Depth information.
Azimuth field
Double click or click the List icon to specify the field in the Survey file which contains the Azimuth information.
Inclination field
Double click (or click the List icon) to specify the field in the Survey file which contains the Inclination information.
Current depth
Optionally enter the current depth of the active drillhole from the Drillhole Database. If this field is left blank, the current depth value is taken from the total depth field in the Collar file.
Modify Collar Location
If you have selected to choose the active drillhole from a Survey file, you can optionally select whether to modify the location of the collar.
If you select the Modify Collar Location option, use the fields provided to specify the modified East, North and RL values for the collar, or click on the Pick Point From Vizex button to interactively pick the collar location in Vizex.
Intersect With Wireframe
If you select the Intersect With Wireframe option, you can specify a wireframe containing pierce points where the drillhole intersects in order to report the distance from planned to projected holes.
Type
Double click (or click the Select icon) to specify a wireframe Type for the intersection wireframe.
Name
From the Select Wireframe Name dialog, or in the Name field, select the Name of the intersecting wireframe for the tracker.
You can also use the Pick from Vizex button (or select the context menu option where available) to collapse the form and interactively select the required Wireframe to insert and return to the form.
Output
Report
In the Report field, you can specify the name of the report file to be generated by the Tracker. If no name is entered, the default name will be applied.
OK
Click OK to run the Drillhole Tracker and generate the specified output.
When complete, the Report will be displayed in the Vizex Report Viewer. Additionally, the information from the Tracker will be displayed in Vizex and the Drillhole | Tracker tab will open:

Forms
Click the Forms button to select and open a saved form set, or if a form set has been loaded, save the current form set.
