Configuration Options

In the Settings > Configuration Options step, choose which options to include within the model:

Embed Rapid Reserver

The Rapid Reserver module creates the pits, benches, blast solids and mining reserves for scheduling and is embedded by default. When the Embed Rapid Reserver check box is selected, reserves are loaded directly into the project and can be edited without leaving the scheduler. This consumes a Rapid Reserver license and requires a local copy of the Rapid Reserver project (as opposed to a master copy on the network).

Do Not Embed Rapid Reserver

If the Embed Rapid Reserver check box is not selected, reserves are imported in the Data Sources step. Any changes to reserves require the user to revert to Rapid Reserver standalone.

Inventory model from Rapid Reserver as Data Source

If the project is to be passed onto someone who does not need to change the reserves, enable the Do Not Embed Rapid Reserver flag. In this case, the transferred project will be smaller in size and the “.resmodel” file will not be required by the end user.

Save Schedule Results

Select the Save Schedule Results check box to save the results from the schedule with the model. This means the schedule will not need to be re-run when re-opening the model, however this consumes large amounts of memory and disk space.

Do Not Save Schedule Results

If the Save Schedule Results check box is not selected, results are not saved with the model and schedules will need to be run each time the model is opened. This saves memory and disc space, but schedules must be rerun upon opening the software.

Use Expression Builder

Select the Use Expression Builder check box to allow users to perform calculations on database fields using expressions rather than extensions.

When this check box is selected, two more Expression Builder and Expression Refined Database setup steps are required.

Enable Feedable Stocks

Select the Enable Feedable Stocks check box to provide the ability to calculate the quantity of available material which is sitting in front of crushers that when combined will still meet Flow Optimisation Targets. This feature is helpful to understand the quantity of ‘On-Spec’ material available, rather than just the total stocks available.

When this check box is selected, an additional Feedable Blocks setup step is required, as well as extra setup options for Stockpiles, Crushers and Flow Optimisation.

Date Time Format

Allows users to select from predefined date time formats. This affects all display and report dates.
