Configure Permits and Permit Types

Note: If you are running a version of Pitram earlier than version 3.29, you will need to deploy one or more Site-specific permit types and Configure Controlled Areas will not be available for selection:

To deploy the Signs and Permits reference groups:

  1. Select Other Actions | Deploy Reference Data on the navigation pane header.
  2. Select Configuration Items | Permits and ct Configuration Items | Signs.

    3. If you are using the Default permit types, there is no need to select Permits.

  1. If you want to create a permit for travel, in other words, a permit that is defined in terms of a Start location and a Destination, select the following attributes:
    2. Attribute  
    Operators NOENTRY
    TravelType

    Either:

    One way. StartLoc to Destination.

    Two way. StartLoc to Destination and back again.
    StartLocation A start location
    Destination An end destination.

  1. Click OK to save your settings. You will receive a message to say that the deployment was successful.

    2. In the navigation pane, Groups | Configuration Items | Permits and Signs will be shown:
