From Strings

On the Wireframe tab, in the From Strings group:

• Click Centreline to Solid... to use a selected string and profile shape to build an extruded tunnel solid along the centreline.

  

• Click Surface or Solid from Profile to make a copy of an "extrusion profile" and triangulate the two profiles to generate a surface or extrude a solid.

  

• Click Build Polygonal Solids to generate extruded solids by projecting polygons mapped to the sections in an input (String or Outline) file onto Away and Towards section planes. An associated set of nominal section planes, with Away and Towards measurements defined for each section plane, are defined in a section control file.

  

• Click Bedding Plane From Points to create a wireframe from points in plane. The function will generate a planar surface (defined by shape and length) for each point in the Input file. The orientation of each surface is dependant on the Dip and Dip Direction for each point.
