Development Drilling
The Development Drilling functionality provides underground mine planners with tools that allow them to quickly prepare drill and blast plans for horizontal or inclined tunnel headings (such as declines, crosscuts, drives), shafts and raises.
Development Drilling data is organised in a Heading Design Database format which contains one or more tunnels which can be loaded in the same display layer. Wireframes representing the 3D geometry of the tunnels can be sliced at any orientation to produce strings that can be used in the hole design procedure.
Heading Design Database
The Heading Design Database is used to store:
-
Parameters and round data associated with each tunnel. This will include tunnel centrelines and references to wireframes used to model the tunnel.
-
Parameters and hole data associated with the rounds in each tunnel.
