What's New
Pitram version 6.0 provides the following new features and enhancements. For more information refer to: Release Notes 6.0
New User Interface: Drill and Blast
An important feature of Pitram version 6 is an updated user interface for the Drill and Blast module in Pitram Portal. The old Silverlight screens have been replaced with an HTML5/Angular UI preserving the same workflows and ease of navigation you are familiar with, but with a modern look and feel.
The renewed user interface allows the module to be displayed in modern browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
New User Interface: Pitram Mobile
Another important feature of Pitram version 6 is a modernized user interface in Pitram Mobile. Most of the screens have been remade to provide a new modern look and feel with improved navigations.
Pitram Upgrade Service
The Pitram Upgrade Service provides the highly requested functionality to automatically update Data Acquisition and Event Editor applications whenever there is an update. From Pitram 6.0, a new service will be included in the Control Room installation that will check for updates from the Pitram server. The site administrator can configure how they want the applications to be updated, via Reference Data Editor – see Pitram Upgrade Service.
Pitram Licensing
In Pitram 6.0 we have introduced the Pitram Licensing Service (PLS) which works with Micromine Licensing Studio (MLS) to automate how a Pitram site is licensed. Once sites are moved over to subscription pricing, PLS will automatically refresh a site license to include, add or remove modules, extend expiration dates and will no longer require a Pitram Specialist to manually copy licence files. Some new screens have also been added to Pitram Portal to enable site administrators to view licence information and request updates if required. For more information, refer to Micromine Licensing Service and Pitram Licence Service Installation Guide.
Location Status Rules
Keeping track of location status is an important element of underground mine management and a key capability of Pitram. Pitram Location Status Rules provide functionality to automate location status tracking and minimise manual interaction by the Control Room operators. Previously limited to data captured in Data Acquisition, this functionality has now been extended so that “No Prompt” rules can be triggered by any data captured in Pitram including Pitram Mobile, Pitram Connect and third-party applications via PRIS. Rules that require an action by a user are still limited to only being triggered in Data Acquisition.
