Steps to Define a Target

Your database may be configured to work with more than one site. All the types, groups and items that you define in Targets are exclusive to the selected site. For example, items and budgets defined for SiteA cannot be seen when working in SiteB.

To work with Targets:

1. Select a site, and where applicable a Mine Region.
2. Select or create a Target.
3. Define an item or items for the target. The group that an item belongs to is part of the item definition.
4. Select a period.
5. Enter a target value for the item or items for the period.

At this stage you are ready to go to the Reporting service to generate a report.
