Cycle States
Cycle states define the various stages of the loading-dumping-loading mining cycle. Cycle states are the same for each Pitram installation and should not be edited.
Cycle states are configured under Groups | Configuration Items | States | Equipment States | CycleStatus. This configuration is usually the task of the Pitram System Specialist during installation.
Cycle states have four attributes:
| Attribute | Description |
|---|---|
| Category |
Either:
|
| CycleSequence | The number of equipment units in the cycle sequence. |
| ValidDurationMinutes |
The maximum duration that a truck or loader should be in this status. If the maximum is exceeded, a message is displayed in the Delays pane. |
| DisplayColour | Colour is used to highlight cycle status on Equipment Timeline panels. |
There are two types of cycle states depending on the equipment type:
-
Trucks. Cycle states are Travelling Empty, Queuing, Loading, Hauling, Queuing at Dump. As trucks are moved through the cycle on a Loaders and Trucks panel, for example, the cycle status is automatically changed.
-
Loaders. Cycle states are Loading Trucks and Waiting for Trucks. Loaders are assigned a cycle status via:
-
Pitram Mobile. It can be configured to automatically identify if there is a truck in the vicinity and change the status accordingly.
If a site is using an automatic data collection system, a truck, as it approaches a loader, will have its status automatically changed depending on its proximity to the loader. The cycle states that change automatically are Queuingand Loading and Hauling. Define the QueuingRadius, LoadingRadius and HaulingRadius attributes for a loader equipment model in Groups | Configuration | Equipment | EquipmentModel.
- The Control Room Operator can right-click on a loader icon in Data Acquisition and select a Set Cycle Status option.
