Users

On the Users tab of the Task Properties dialog, choose who are the owners, assignees and stakeholders of the task. * A red asterix indicates a mandatory field.

Owner

The creator of a task is the default owner, but you can add other users if joint ownership of the task is required. Owners are responsible for the creation, tracking, and sign-off of the task.

Responsible

Specify one or more assignees responsible for the completion of the task.

Informed and Consulted

Additional roles may be specified, based loosely upon the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix for project management.
