Options
To set options, you can also double-click on the flight path layer in the Vizex Layer Display pane.
Time
Use the Time inputs to specify the velocity (slow - fast) to be used when running the flight path in Vizex.
Total
Specify the total duration of the flight path in seconds.
Mode
Specify how the duration of the flight path will be applied. The duration you have entered can be applied BETWEEN EACH VIEWPOINT or across the TOTAL FLIGHT PATH.
When you run the flight path, Vizex will move the current camera position between each viewpoint and interpolate between each viewpoint to give a smooth animation of the displayed object.
How smooth the animation is, can also be determined by the Spline Tension.
Spline Tension
You can control how closely the trajectory (spline curve) of the flight path follows the path of the viewpoints defined in the flight path file.
- The higher the Spline Tension, the closer the trajectory of the fly-through will be to the original flight path data.
- The lower the Spline Tension, the looser or smoother the trajectory of the fly-through will be.
Display
The following options apply to the display of the Flight Path string and, if the Display Spline option is selected, the Spline curve.
