Property Editor: User

The User Property Editor displays the login credentials and the personal details of a user. You can edit these details and also edit how the user account is authenticated. Options to enable or disable a user account, or an admin user account, and allow access to Panorama are also provided.

User Name

Enter the login details (domain and name) of the user.

Details

Enter the personal details (First Name, Family Name, Email, Description) of the user.

Options

Enabled

Typically, you will select this option to enable a new user's account, however there may be occasions when you prefer not to enable a user immediately. As an administrator, this option also allows you to disable the account of an existing user.

Administrator

Select this option to give administrator rights to the user.

Can assign profile to user

This option allows the user to assign profiles to users. Access to the Configuration manager will be restricted to Profiles and Users. The user will only be able to assign profiles to users. This option is only enabled for non Administrator profiles.

Panorama

Select the Panorama option to allow the user to login to the Nexus service. Details on connecting to the service are contained in Nexus.

Note: A User must have Panorama enabled (and be logged into Nexus from the backstage menu) in order to open Panorama job manager. See: Nexus

Finally, click OK. to save the User's details
