Activating a New Licence

If you are installing Micromine Geobank 2025.5 for the first time, you will need to activate your licence, using your Nexus - Home credentials for a Cloud licence, the activation code for a local node-locked licence, or the USB security key (dongle), supplied to you by Micromine Australia Pty Ltd Licensing.

After installation, the following screen will appear when you start Micromine Geobank:

To activate a Cloud licence, you must be signed in to Nexus - Home and have permission to use a cloud licence - see Cloud Licences.

  1. Select Activate a Cloud Licence. This option will not be available if you are not signed in.

    Your computer must remain online during the activation process.

  1. Micromine Geobank will search for any available cloud licences for your user and will display the following prompt:

  2. Any available cloud licences will be added to the Active Licence list - which you can access the Switch Active Licence option in the Licensing backstage:

    Cloud licences are indicated by a cloud icon at the left of the licence configuration name.

  3. Select the required cloud licence from the form and click OK.

    You will be prompted to restart Micromine Geobank to apply the changes.

  4. When you have restarted the application, the new configuration will apply and you can view the details in the Info panel at the right of the File | Licensing page:

Additionally, any available cloud licences will be displayed in the Licence Manager on the Cloud Licences tab:
