Cross-Sections

Overview

Cross sections are useful for providing context to 2D plots.

The chart shows 10% not mined, but it is not clear on this bench view.

Creating a Cross-Section

1. Click theCross-Section icon in the toolbar above the viewport.

2. Click and drag to set and rotate the view rectangle.

3. In the Cross-Section panel:

   1. middle click to pan,

   2. scroll wheel to zoom,

   3. <CTRL> + scroll to vertically exaggerate,

   4. use the arrow icons to step the view forward and backward.

The not mined dirt is on the bottom flitch, which cannot be seen from plan view:
