Input Elements

An Input Element maps the ranges and fields of the input data source to the fields defined as a part of the data flow.

For each specified Material, the Text Identifiers and Value Fields also specified under the General Settings of the Data Flow are mapped to the Text and Numeric fields, respectively, of the underlying table.

Preview

When an Input element is selected, the Preview pane shows the input source data that has been retrieved from the underlying data table.

A Filter Expression can be applied to restrict the input source data to a subset of the data in the table.
