What rates can be monitored in real-time?
Performance rates are calculated by Data Acquisition and by the Pitram Portal Reporting. Typical examples are:
-
Tonnes Per Operating Hour
-
BCMs Per Operating Hour
-
Metres Per Operating Hour
-
Tonnes Kilometres Per Hour
These rates are calculated as the (Sum of the Measure) / (Sum of the Operating Hours). The summing of measures occurs independently of the summing of operating hours. This means that all operating hours are included regardless of whether they have measures recorded against them or not.
Similarly all measures are summed regardless of whether they were recorded during an operating time or not.
The rate calculation can be applied to a particular type of work as defined by:
-
Location
-
Material type
-
Source and Destination
In this case, the rate calculation will use the summed measures and the operating hours that apply to that type of work.
