Offline Functionality and Cache

When the shift planner view is activated and online (i.e. connected to Pitram servers), all required reference data for both the main view, and Edit dialog are downloaded and cached, along with the current Shift Planner state. A user can then use all the functionality while offline. The only functionality missing when offline is:

• No external task updates, including actuals, even if time based - (local edits are of course reflected)

• No submitting of local edits - these will be submitted once connected

The local cache can be cleared in one of two ways:

• Tap and OK the Clear online cache button from the configuration menu

• Logging out will also clear this cache, including all Tasks data and cached reference data
