Non-critical Faults Panel

In Data Acquisition you can record non-critical maintenance events (faults) against items of equipment. Non-critical faults are typically minor breakdown or maintenance issues that are not serious enough to prevent an item of equipment from operating.

While faults (such as a cracked tail light or a cracked windscreen) may not be critical, they should be addressed at the earliest opportunity. Any number of non-critical faults can be active against a unit of equipment at any one time.

To setup a Non-Critical Faults panel:

  1. Click on the Panels tab of the Display pane.
  2. Right-click on Non Critical Faults and select New Panel. from the right-click menu.
  3. Enter a Name for the panel.
  4. Select the Equipment units for which non-critical faults are to be recorded and displayed. Choose All Equipment, choose a predefined equipment Group, or select equipment units from a list.

A new “Non Critical Faults” panel will be added to Data Acquisition.
