Measure Distance

The Measure tool, when active, allows you to draw a line or multiple lines on the Viewer grid to measure the distance between points according to the wireframe coordinates.

On the Navigation bar,

1. Select Viewer.

2. Open the object to be measured in the Viewer.

3. Select the Measure tool.

4. Click on the starting coordinate in the grid from which you want to measure the distance.

   This will display the Measure distance information panel with all values set to 0.

   

5. Move the cursor to the next or end point to which you want to measure the distance.

   This will draw a line on the grid and the values in the Measure distance panel will be updated as the cursor is moved.

   

6. You can click the end point to display the distance.

7. If you move the cursor to another point, a new line segment will be added and the total distance will be calculated.

   

8. You can press Esc at any time to exit the tool.
