Footnotes

  1. Micromine Origin & Beyond only officially support Windows 10 (64-bit) version 1809 or later (using earlier Windows 10 versions may disable some application features). Windows 7 SP1 (+ Rollup Update) or Windows 8/8.1 may work but are not recommended and are not officially supported. Windows XP and Windows Vista are not supported.
  2. Micromine Origin & Beyond will use multiple processor cores for some processor-intensive tasks, for example: wireframe processing, implicit modelling, grade interpolation, stope optimisation, schedule optimisation and some Vizex graphics operations. We recommend a processor with at least 4 cores for standard workloads. We recommend at least 6-8 or more cores for large modelling workflows.
  3. This estimate is only for installation and provision for temporary files and workspace files during normal operation. You will need additional disk space for data. The exact amount required will depend on the size and complexity of your Micromine Origin & Beyond project.
  4. Micromine Origin & Beyond rely heavily on the wheel button for interactive 3D view manipulation. Some mouse software assigns the wheel button to extended functionality (for example, application switching), which is incompatible with the application. For maximum compatibility ensure the wheel button is assigned the default Windows behaviour.
  5. If you are using Office 365 you may need to manually install the correct drivers for Access compatibility. For full compatibility, the drivers should match the application’s 64-bit architecture. Incorrect configuration of drivers may result in corruption by Office 365 updates and cause application instability.
