Editing

On the Wireframe tab, in the Editing group:

  • Click Copy to Active Layer (or right-click on the wireframes in Vizex and select Selection | Copy Wireframes to Active layer) to copy the selected wireframes to the active layer.

  • Select a Cut operation that will cut one or more selected wireframes. To define a cutting surface, one or more polylines or polygons are extruded in directions at right angles to the projection plane.

  • The Cut Keep Inside option on the menu, will keep the wireframes that are situated inside the cutting surface. INSIDE = BELOW or RIGHT depending on the orientation of the surface.

  • Click Buffer to create an outer or inner 3D shell at a fixed offset distance or buffer from a nominated wireframe.

  • click Interactive Clip to clip a DTM (or a surface wireframe), using one or more polygons in Vizex.

  • Click Convert (Wireframe) to convert the coordinates in an input wireframe and optionally write the results to a second wireframe.

  • Select Convert Coordinates, to convert string or wireframe coordinates between two plane grids.

  • Click Move/Rotate to interactively move, copy, or rotate the wireframes you have selected in Vizex. Selecting this option will activate wireframe transform display mode.

  • Click Copy/Move Wireframes (or select Copy/Move Wireframe from the right-click menu) to copy or move selected wireframes by a specified amount.

  • Click Move (Shift) to move a wireframe a specified distance in a specified direction.

  • Click Separate to separate a triangulation into its constituent volumes or shells, depending on the separation mode selected.

  • Select Save As Single Wireframe (or select the same option from the right-click menu) to save the wireframes you have selected in Vizex as a single wireframe.

  • Select Save As Single to save the wireframes in a wireframe set as a single wireframe.

  • Click Save As Wireframe Set (or select the same option from the right-click menu) to save the wireframes you have selected in Vizex as a wireframe set.
