Output

The Output tab of the Create Mining Blocks form defines the names of the mining blocks and where the wireframes will be written. It also populates attributes of the mining blocks and optionally creates Wireframe Sets to make it easier to display the mining blocks in Vizex.

Mining Blocks

In the Mining Blocks group box:

1. Define the wireframe type that will contain the output wireframes (right click to create a new type).
2. Define the prefix and separator used in the generating the names of each mining block wireframe.

The name is made by concatenating the following components and the defined separator: Prefix, (Stage), Bench Name, Row, and Column.

In the Attributes group box, populate attributes of the mining block wireframes using any of the following: Block Index, Bench (Z), Bench (Name), Row and Column. If the Input uses Stages then the additional attributes Stage and Stage + Bench Name.

The Stage name used is defined in the Output column (on the Input tab).

If the mining blocks are to be used in the Mine Planner it is essential that the Block Index attribute is transferred to the output wireframe. The block index is a unique value that will be used to generate horizontal and vertical dependencies in the Mine Planner. The subsequent workflow also expects the Bench Name to be written to the output wireframes. In the scheduler this will be used to group tasks.

Note: If stages are used then the Stage + Bench Name should be written to mining block wireframes. In the Scheduler, this will be used to group tasks.

Type

Select a wireframe type (*.tridb) for the mining block wireframes.

Name prefix

Optionally, specify a prefix that will precede the name of each output wireframe.

Separator

Optionally, specify a separator that will be used to separate each component of the wireframe name.

Auto load

Select this option to load the generated output in Vizex. The default draw style for an auto-loaded wireframe is 3D Shaded.

Wireframe Sets

Optionally, select the wireframe sets you want to create in addition to the mining block wireframes:

All	A single wireframe set will be created which covers the full extent of all mining blocks.
By bench	A wireframe set will be created for each bench. Enter a prefix to denote that this is a BENCH wireframe set.
By stage	A wireframe set will be created for each mining stage. Enter a prefix to denote that this is a STAGE wireframe set.

Attributes

Attributes that are a product of the mining block creation process (Block Index, Bench Name, Bench Z, Row, Column, Stage) can be written to the output wireframes.

Mining Block Attributes

Use the drop down arrow in the Input cell to select the input attribute.

Set the attribute from the corresponding Output cell.

If the attributes do not exist for the chosen Input, they will be created.

Wireframe Attributes

The user defined attributes of the pit solid wireframe can also be written to the output wireframes. If attributes do not exist for the chosen wireframe type, they will be created.

Use the buttons on the local toolbar to Manage the rows in the list.
