Optimisation Results by Increment for Sub-Blocks

The Optimisation Results by Increment for Sub-Blocks data source contains the values assigned by the optimiser(s) to each block, including sub-blocks as required, from the block model for the underground mine for each specified increment in the value of the selected stage parameter. It includes some attributes that are not included in the Optimisation Results by Increment for Regularised Blocks data source because those attributes are specified for sub-blocks and deriving corresponding values for the parent blocks is not straightforward.

It is useful for determining why individual (sub-)blocks have, or have not, been included in particular stage increments. However, with one record for each stage parameter value increment for each (sub-)block, the size of the data source may be substantial and should be reported sparingly.

Summary

The Summary by … data sources contain cumulative summaries of the following items for each identified stage increment for the underground mine:

  • Mined masses of ore and waste

  • Masses and grades of elements

  • Costs

  • Revenues

  • Cutoff grades for each element by material bin

The data sources include the following core attributes:

Attribute

Description

StageCode

Identification code for stage increment for which summary values are reported.

StageParameterValueFormed

Value of stage parameter at which stage became profitable.

In the interests of keeping the summary data sources as concise as possible, neither the common attributes nor those from the Mine data source are included.
