Macro Functions

File

  • On the File tab, in the Data File group: Select New/Modify File to create a new file, or modify a file by altering the field names, types, widths, or the number of decimal places.

  • select Print Micromine File to send a file to the default printer.
  • select Copy, Rename, Delete or Open to copy, rename, delete or open a file from a form.
  • select Delete Data to use a form to delete the data in a file.

Wireframe

  • select Copy to copy from one wireframe type to another. In most cases, you will using this function to create a new type.
  • select Rename to rename a wireframe type.
  • select Copy, Rename or Delete to copy, rename or delete a wireframe from a form.
  • select Save Selected to save multiple wireframes selected in Vizex as a single wireframe.

Utilities

  • select Select Printer to change a printer/plotter and its parameters within a macro.
  • select Substitution Table to define a form set of substitution values that can then be substituted in macro instructions.
  • select Call Macro to call a macro in a form. The macro you pass to CALLMAC will run. When it is complete, the main macro will continue. Only one level of nesting is possible. That is, the macro in the form you pass to CALLMAC cannot contain another macro.
  • select Go to Hole by Name to navigate a drillhole log by specifying the name of the hole you want to view.
  • select Run External Program to run a batch file or external program. You can also use file associations to open any Windows compatible file, for example a PDF file or a PowerPoint (.PPT) file.
