Task Preparation
On the Mining tab, in the Task Preparation group:
-
Click Incremental Solids to create incremental, cumulative and/or remainder solids from a list of surfaces clipped to specified bounds and (optionally) topography.
-
Click Bench Solids to create bench solids from a block model that satisfies a minimum mining width.
-
Click Create Mining Blocks to create mining blocks suitable for mine scheduling. As input, the Mine Planner requires mining blocks that are “indexed” based on a predefined 3D grid of rows, columns and benches.
The Mine Planner (Scheduling | Planner) requires the “tasks”, or mining blocks, to be based on a regular planar cutting profile. The cells in this profile all have the same dimensions and form a grid of rows and columns – much like a map referencing system.
-
Click Development Solids to load and decode a network of centreline strings as a design profile that can be used to indicate the directions in which development advances.
-
Click Material Bins to define and report on multiple grade categories (or material bins). This is achieved by defining a material bin set which supplies the conditions for material classification.
