Lithology Surface Map Modeller
The Surface Map tool has been added on the Implicit tab, in the Lithology group to enable the generation of wireframes and/or solids from surface map data such as boundary strings and structural measurements.
Fault modelling can be performed using surface mapping/structural information to create fault surfaces and solids which can then be used to generate a model - for example:
Topography Options
The Topography tab has been added to various Implicit Modelling tools to allow trim to Topography filtering. For example, the Grade tool in the Numerical section now contains a Topography tab:
Topography for the supported models can be generated from Collars or Wireframes.
Intercepts to Model
The Intercepts to model option has been added to the Vein, Vein Network and Geology modelling forms.
The Intercepts to model options are used to select the relevant intervals to model, or ignore.
From the drop down, you can choose to model All intercepts, Ignore Internal, model the Longest intercept, the First intercept or the Last.
Generate Outcrop Surface
The Generate Outcrop Surface/s option has been added to the Output options for the Grade, Indicator, Intrusion, Vein and Attributed Points Implicit Modelling tools:
If Topography generation has been configured, you can select the Generate outcrop surface/s option to create outcrop surfaces for the output.
Calculate Vein Thickness
An option has been added to the Implicit Vein and Vein Network tools to calculate and write the thickness of the vein to the vein wireframe and centre surface.
Vein thickness is computed for each vertex of the Hanging Wall and Foot Wall interactions and written to the specified thickness attribute of the wireframe.
Generate Centre Surface
The Generate Centre Surface and Clip to vein solid options have been added to the Output options for the Vein Lithology tool in Implicit Modelling:
Generate centre surface will output the vein centre surface for the Vein model using the same implicit model function as Generate HW & FW surfaces by outputting the surface where f = zero.
If Clip to vein solid is also selected, the surface will be clipped to within the modelled vein.
Curved Contact Intervals
Implicit Modelling has been enhanced to better process highly curved contact intervals.
The application now handles curved contact intervals by sampling points at regular depths using the drillhole trace function and does not assume contact intervals are straight. Outliers detection has been extended to dense partial contact intervals to improve handling of these intervals.
