This topic provides a summary of new features and enhancements related to Stope Optimisation and Pit Optimisation.

Grade Units Support

Support for all available Grade units has been added to both the Pit Optimiser and Stope Optimiser. Additionally, units not included for selection, such as those that may be entered directly by the user, are also supported.

The Density field for both Optimisers can now have a density or tonnage factor unit selected to determine the units used for calculating block mass and volume.

Additionally, Mining Costs can now have a Volume or Mass unit of measurement selected:

Selecting Custom from the menu will allow the use of Expressions to vary the cost by the depth of mining and/or the distance of the block from the plant.
