Ring Design

This topic provides a summary of new features and enhancements related to Ring Design.

Charge Exclusion Zones

On the Mining | Ring Design tab, in the Charging group, you can now use a Charge Exclusion Zones function to use selected wireframe solids or polygons to auto-charge the holes on a ring in Edit Ring mode.

Previously, the function only allowed the wireframe solids and polygons to be selected for multiple rings in 3D mode, including section views.

 

Drillhole Labels

To provide a more appropriate offset for the hole numbers displayed on a drillhole fan, in the Display hole numbers group on the Drillhole Labels tab of the Ring Design form, hole number X and Y offset values are now applied relative to each hole.

 

Drill Rig Options

On the Mining | Ring Design tab, in the Setup group, when you click Drill Rig Options to set drill rig position settings and display options, the rig profile default file type is now .STR, since the use of a String file is more likely.
