Object Visibility
Options on the Vizex tab, in the Object Visibility group, allow you to choose which objects in the display are visible, and which objects are selectable.
Invisible objects are hidden from view. Shadowed objects are visible, but cannot be selected with the standard Select tool.
Object Visibility tools are particularly useful, for example, when you want to restrict the number of strings that are visible or active during wireframing; or when you want to reduce screen clutter and focus on one or two objects.
It is important to note that the object visibility tools work differently with points. For more information, see: Object Visibility for Points

Summary
- With the click of a button, you can hide (all, selected, or unselected) objects in the display. With another click of a button, you can make them visible again.
- Similarly, with the click of a button you can deactivate (shadow) objects in the display. When you apply a shadow to an object, it becomes inactive and less obtrusive, while still being visible.
- You can undo your last visibility change.
- There are two ways of working:
- You can select objects and then apply a visibility mode to them. (If necessary, you can use Selection | Invert selection on layer from the right-click menu to invert the selection);
- You can select a visibility mode and then use the mouse select the objects you want to apply it to.
- Press ESC to exit a Visibility mode and restore the standard Select cursor.
