Hole Attributes

You can specify any number of attributes for the holes in a block and write them to the Collar file of the Blasthole Database. For, example you may define a Cost attribute and write the unit costs of drilling for a block to the Collar file. The Collar file could subsequently be run through the Report Generator to summarise the total drilling cost for all of the blocks on a bench.

Note:

  • When the Add Drillhole or Add Row tools are used to add holes to an existing block name, the user defined attributes for the pattern that were specified during the creation process are copied to the new holes.

  • When the Add Drillhole or Add Row tools holes are used to add holes to a new block name, the hole will have empty user defined hole attributes.
