Output
The Output tab of the Calculate Wireframe Grade Tonnage form provides options that determine:
- How Density values are handled
- How Volume and Density attributes for unclassified material are written to the wireframes (if at all)
- The type of report produced by the function
Density Fields
Use the Density Fields settings to control the source of the Density values used by the function. Density values are treated in a similar way to grades. That is, you can direct the function to obtain them from one of four sources:
- A Density field in the input file, or
- A Density attribute in the wireframe.
- A Density value from the material set (if specified).
- A Default density which will be substituted where a Density value is missing from a record in the input file, from a wireframe attribute, or from a material set. If a Density wireframe attribute does not exist, it will be created.
- A Void density value for regions of a wireframe that do not intersect ant block model cells.
Void Density
Void represents regions where no block model cells intersect the wireframe(s) being interrogated. For example, void regions may be present when an Ore block model does not fully cover the extents of a pit that is being evaluated.
This option can be used to specify the default density of void material.
Note: Specifying a void density and configuring the void attribute settings is recommended when using an ore block model.
Create attributes for void material
Enable this check box and enter names in the fields if you wish to write Volume and Density attributes for void material to the wireframes.
Report file
Enter the name of the Report file that will be generated by this function. The Report file fields include:
- The wireframe type and name(s).
- The volume and tonnage and density for each wireframe.
- The average grade for each of the grade fields in each wireframe.
- The total metal (M_) for each grade field in each wireframe.
Standard
Select this option to produce a flat report that includes:
- the quantity of each material that intersected each wireframe
- Unclassified or Void material will be included in the report if it is identified during the interrogation.
Include totals
If this option is used, the tool produces a report that includes:
- Additional rows which provide a sum of all the materials within each wireframe.
- TOTAL row (subsequent to the individual wireframe reserves) which provides a sum of all reserves.
Use Key Fields
Select this check box to include additional key fields in the Report file. You can write one or more wireframe attributes to the Report file. If the Input file is a Block Model file, you can also write the fields in the Block Model file to the Output file. These key fields can be used to group the data in the Report file.
Use the buttons on the grid list toolbar to Manage the rows in the list.
Forms
Click the Forms button to select and open a saved form set, or if a form set has been loaded, save the current form set.
Run
Finally, click Run to run the function. (To view the Report file, right-click with the cursor in the Report file response).
