Vizex Hot keys

'Hot keys' are single-press keyboard shortcuts that allow you to quickly switch from one editing or viewing mode to another. The following hot keys and menu shortcuts are provided in Vizex:

CTRL + SPACE Action In any open form, clears the current response and moves to the next response

Qualifiers:

  • Digitising string: CTRL forces direction of previous segment; SHIFT forces right angles to direction of previous segment.
  • Seek tool: CTRL + click on a wireframe triangle or closed polygon sets the viewing plane to the orientation of the triangle or polygon.
  • Section tool: CTRL key snaps the section to increments of 30°-45°-90°.
  • Select triangles by Line: SHIFT restricts selection to visible (closest) triangles. CTRL adds to current selection.
  • Delete triangles: Click on face to select one; Click on edge to select two; Click on vertex to select multiple.

  • Copy Point: CTRL + click and drag on a point to create a copy of the point.
