Project Thumbnails

A thumbnail of the current project is generated automatically on first shutdown. A project thumbnail can also be created by the user:

• On the Home tab, in the Projects group, select Project | Generate Thumbnail to generate a project thumbnail from the current view.

  

When you work with a large number of projects, a thumbnail is useful way of identifying a project visually by associating it with a representation of the data in that project.

 

Paste Transpose

On the File | File Editor tab, in the Clipboard group, you can now select an option to Paste Transpose the rows or the block of cells you have copied to the clipboard.

If the clipboard contains a row of information it will be pasted as a column and vice-versa. Note that the values copied to the clipboard from the columns or rows must be of a compatible type that can be transposed.

 

Open File Location

An Open File Location right-click menu option has been added for File inputs in forms. This option is also available in the File Editor when any part of the displayed file is right-clicked.

The file is located in the Windows File Explorer.

 

Edit Confirmation

On the File tab, in the Edit Data group, when you click Modify File Structure to change the structure of a file, you can now choose whether to display a confirmation message or warning:

(This replaces options that were previously available on the File Handling tab of the Options | System form.)

 

Setup WMS/WMST Image

On the File tab, in the Image group, when you select Image | Setup WMS Image or Image | Setup WMTS Image, and the required coordinate systems are unavailable on the servers, client-side image coordinate conversion is now supported.

When you select select Display Layers | Image to load and georeference an image (on the Home tab or the Vizex tab, in the Layers group), a new Conversion prompt supports the picking of a coordinate system conversion for the loaded image.
