Profiles

Define the name of the field in the block model file, which defines the Pit Profile index to be used by the pit optimisation program.

The pit profile index provides a new way of modelling slopes in Whittle or MineMax. Within Whittle, for example, up to 50 slope profiles are able to be defined. The information, which is included in the block model file, is a pointer to the slope profile which is used for each Whittle block. It is envisaged that a wireframe defining the different regions of the ore body, which belong to each pit profile, will have been defined in Micromine.

The Modelling | Assign | Wireframes function can then be used to write the Slope Profile index from one of the wireframe attributes to the block model file.
