Ore fields
Rock code
Enter the name of the field containing rock codes in the input file. This must be a string containing 4 or less characters. Do not use the identifier Ore as this is used as the default Ore type. For example, this field might contain codes such as Ore 1, BAS etc.
Density
Enter the name of the field containing Density values for ore. If this is left blank or values are missing from the defined field then the Default Densities defined under the CAF defaults will be used.
PCAF
Enter the name of the field that contains information on the processing cost adjustment factor that is to be applied to each block. Note that this factor only defines costs that are incurred if the ore is passed through the mill. This cost is entered as a factor relative to the “standard block” which has a PCAF of 1. The actual values for processing costs are defined as part of the analysis carried out during the Pit Optimisation Export process.
MCAF
Enter the name of the field that contains information on the mining cost adjustment factor that is to be applied to each block. Note that this factor only defines costs that are incurred if the block is mined. Costs, which stop when mining stops, do not normally contribute to the mining cost adjustment factor. This cost is entered as a factor relative to the “standard block” which has a MCAF of 1. The actual values for mining costs are defined as part of the analysis carried out during the Pit Optimisation Export process.
