CAF Defaults
You can define default values for Density, PCAF and MCAF for Ore and Waste. These will be used when a these fields do not exist or these values are missing from records in the block model file.
In addition, you can also define the values that will be used at or below certain RLs or DTMs. If you want to use DTMs to control which values are used, select Use DTMs and then enter the names of the DTM files in the prompts that are enabled. Otherwise enter RLs. When blocks at or below the given RLs or the DTMs are processed, the values you enter in the same row will be used by the function.
You only need to define default Density, MCAF and PCAFs for Waste if you are explicitly defining waste in the block model.
When defined these figures will normally be the same as the Default Density, MCAF and PCAFs for ore. The discussion, above, on the fields in the block model file which can define these values outlines when these values are likely to be different to those used for ore.
