Shape
Advanced Reports provides you with the capability to embed shapes into your reports. You can add a Shape control to a report, choose one of the available shape types and then print or export the report. To insert a shape into a report, simply drag a Shape control item from the Button Bar and drop it onto the report.
There are many standard shape types supported by the Shape control. To specify the shape type, you should set the Shape List. Then, the Shape property will return an object that corresponds to a particular shape's type and contains all the properties required by this type.
Then, you can specify properties which are specific to the selected type of a shape. For instance, the Shape Arrow Height and Arrow Width properties, configure the appearance of an arrow shown within the Shape control.
In addition, Shape objects feature:
-
The Angle property to specify the angle by which the shape's image is rotated.
-
The Line Width property specifying the width of the line which is used to draw the shape image.
-
The Fill Colour property specifies the colour with which to fill the shape image.
-
The Stretch property to specify whether or not to stretch a shape when it's rotated.
For a complete list of available shapes, see the Shape drop-down list in the Property grid.
