For the optimal performance of Micromine Geobank your computer system should meet the recommended configuration requirements described in the following tables:

1 More RAM is recommended. Depending on the size of your databases, the client may require more than 32 GB.
2 In addition to the requirement for Free Storage Space (above) note that the performance of applications running on Windows will begin to deteriorate if less than 10% of the storage is free. It is therefore recommended that available storage space be maintained at a level greater than 10%.
3 Minimum: 1500mbps read / 2000mbps write speed. NVMe PCIe SSD with a maximum reading speed of 3500 mbps is recommended. SATA 3 SSD has a maximum data reading speed of 600 mbps.
4 A Database Engine on the Micromine Geobank Client Machine is only required if the SQL database, or a test copy of the database, is stored locally.
Database Server Requirements
Micromine Geobank uses databases on a Microsoft® SQL Server instance. This is known as the Database Server.

Micromine Australia Pty Ltd Online Services Requirements
Micromine Geobank requires connection to Micromine Australia Pty Ltd Online Services in order to perform various functions, including license verification. The table which follows contains information on the functions and the addresses to which they need access.

Note: The Licensing Server is only required for local licences to verify, or for the network licensing server to verify. The Micromine Australia Pty Ltd Platform and Micromine Australia Pty Ltd Online Services are only required if the Panorama feature is utilised.
