Unblasted Blocks

The Unblasted Blocks step will only appear if Model Blasting had been selected in Production Mode Features.

The step will display a list of blasts which have all required predecessor activities completed. For example, if only drilling is being modelled in the Schedule, fully drilled blasts will be displayed. If charging activity is being modelled in the Schedule, fully charged blocks will be displayed.

By default, any blast with all predecessor activities completed are set to blasted. This step allows users to change the initial status of the blast from blasted to ‘ready for blasting’.

Updating Blast Status

Blast status can be updated in 3 ways:

1. Manually ticking each blast as required in the list.

2. Importing using a CSV file.

   

   The CSV file needs at least 2 columns, one with the record name and one for the blast type being updated.

   

3. Import using a scripted extension. Extensions can be configured to update blast status from other files or data sources.
