Search Bar

Overview

In Alastri releases starting from 22.3, all applications have a Search tool. It helps to quickly find software elements by keywords, and navigate to the steps and tabs in which they are found.

All products have a Search bar to help quickly jump to certain areas of the software

Accessing the Search tool

To activate the Search tool:

Click on the Search bar field, or
Use the <CTRL+T> hotkeys.

Click in the search bar or use the <CTRL+T> command to bring up the search tool

Functions and Features

The search function works not only within stand-alone applications, but also between them (if embedded). For example, using the search in ATS, you can navigate to Setup steps and tabs of HI and RR.
Items that match keywords will be listed on the right-hand side of the results panel.	Search items are aggregated based on which application and area they appear in. The aggregation results will be displayed on the left-hand side of the results panel.

Search results include setup steps, tabs, as well as Database, Calendar, and Reports fields. Switch between the aggregations on the left to see a full list of search results in the right panel. The number of matches is shown in brackets for each aggregation. Search results are color-coded according to the application they are found in: blue for ATS, orange for APS, purple for HI, and red for RR, green for SC. Left-click on the search result, or press the Enter key to jump to the part of the software that contains it.
